What is Work Order Management module for?
The main purpose of the Work Order Management module is to help the facility manager and his/her team manage the facility easily and keep it in optimal condition at all times. It does so by seamlessly integrating with disparate data sources that contain crucial information pertaining to the organisation’s building facilities and assets.
It provides for both preventive and corrective maintenance to be carried out systematically.
Preventive Maintenance
Work Order Management module allows the facility manager to schedule maintenance work at ease. Future maintenance routines or inspections can be planned ahead, and the system will remind the work supervisor and technician when the scheduled work draws near.
As a result, the manager can plan future maintenance schedules to prevent unforeseen breakdown of equipment that would hinder day-to-day operations.
Of course, this covers planned maintenance for both areas and assets. Checklist(s) can also be added to a schedule.
For step-by-step guides to adding and managing Schedules on Work Order Management module, see Add and Manage Schedules.
Corrective Maintenance
Buildfolio’s Work Order Management module also provides for the corrective maintenance that is needed. When faults occur, callers/tenants can put in a Work Request with the system directly (if they have their own account) or by calling the HelpDesk. This will set off a series of processes that follows through with every stage in the lifecycle of a work request, ensuring that faults are corrected in a timely fashion.
